 Border collie dog breed was developed to gather and control sheep between Scotland and England. They have unlimited energy and stamina. But choosing food t feed border collies are difficult. So, in this article I am giving few best dog foods for border collie. Before going into the list let us look in to the things that we have to consider while getting food for our collie. The food should be always measured in calories. typical dogs will need 1000 calories to eat. So, all these border calories will require good number of calories as they are more active calories to intake. As dogs become older, they need less calories. But border collies are active throughout their lives.

When fats are considered, not all fats are bad. In fact, facts are good to develop good fur. They are easily digestible and can add on energy to our pets. Also, some dogs have fats already in any one form. Fats from fish are the best for collies. Also, flaxseeds are the best grain source of fat. 

A solid egg can also act as a good and healthy diet for border collies. 

On the whole it is good to give two cups of healthy diet twice a day for our pets.
